IPL is highly versatile and can improve pigmentation such as age spots, freckles, and sun damage, redness and broken capillaries, rosacea-related flushing, uneven skin tone, fine lines, early signs of ageing, enlarged pores and dull texture. It is most commonly used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. What is the downtime? IPL is considered a low-downtime treatment. Most patients experience mild redness immediately after, which usually settles within a few hours. Darker pigmented spots may temporarily darken before flaking away naturally over several days. Makeup can typically be applied the following day. How many sessions will I need? A course of treatments is usually recommended for the best results.
