How does HIFU work? HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy into the deeper layers of the skin and underlying tissue. As a result, new collagen and elastin are produced, leading to gradual lifting, tightening, and improved skin structure. What does HIFU treat? HIFU is highly effective for sagging skin on the face, neck, and jawline. Jowls and loss of jawline definition, fine lines and wrinkles, drooping brows or eyelids, loose skin on the body (e.g. abdomen, thighs, arms) and post-weight loss skin laxity. It is often chosen by patients who want visible tightening without needles, surgery, or downtime. What is the downtime? HIFU is a no-downtime treatment.
